Domtar Kingsport welcomed the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce Leadership Kingsport Class of 2026 to its mill, providing participants with an inside look at the paper industry’s operations and its role in the city’s economic growth.

The visit, part of the “Community + Leadership in Action” initiative, offered the class firsthand insight into sustainable papermaking, manufacturing innovation and the mill’s contribution to the local economy.

The event highlighted the program’s lasting impact, celebrating several Domtar employees as alumni of the leadership training offered by the Kingsport Chamber. A graduate of the program, Austin Phillips, is currently part of the Domtar team, bringing his leadership skills and community spirit to the workplace. Another employee, Tori Johnson, is a member of the current Class of 2026.
