In celebration of Read Across America Week, Domtar’s Kingsport Mill team had the privilege of visiting Roosevelt Elementary, a local Title I school, to share the joy and wonder of reading with young students.

Our team read beloved Dr. Seuss classics aloud in classrooms, sparking imagination and encouraging a lifelong love of books. The students’ excitement was contagious — one even exclaimed, “Domtar! I know Domtar!” It was a heartwarming reminder of the connections we are building right here in our community.

At Domtar, we believe that literacy is a cornerstone of opportunity. Supporting education and inspiring young minds align perfectly with our commitment to making a positive impact beyond the mill.

We are grateful to the educators and students of Roosevelt Elementary for warmly welcoming us into their classrooms.
